Schools Hurling

Carrickshock schools team put in a great performance last Wednesday against Muckalee/Coon in the Championship semi-final. This was definitely the toughest opposition they’d met so far, and Carrickshock were made to battle hard all the way to pull through. It sets them up for a County Final against Graignamanagh/Skeough this Thursday 28th in Nowlan Park. The boys have been very consistent all year and an appearance in Nowlan Park is no more than they deserve. Lets hope we have plenty of support on Thursday to bring home the silverware. Throw-in at 6.15.

With any luck they’ll have a Cup Final appearance coming up as well – they play Conahy in the Tommy O’Brien (Country Cup) semi-final on Monday 25th in Bennettsbridge at 4.0.
