Stoneyford Church (Bicentenary):

Old photographs taken around Stoneyford are needed for a photographic display during the Bicentenary Celebrations. All photographs will be copied and the original will be returned to the owner. Please contact Sean Raggett at 056 772 8149 if you can help.

External Painting of the Church and the padding of the kneelers will take place during the next few weeks. Please be careful while work is in progress.

Newmarket/Hugginstown Social Club:

Next ‘Get Together’ will be on Tuesday 5th. May from 2.00p.m. to 4.30p.m. in “Gáirdín an Ghorta”, Newmarket. All are very welcome.

Bingo:

Bingo Session in the Community Centre, Stoneyford on every Tuesday at 8.30p.m

Referendum:

The Irish Bishop’ Conference has issued a reflection on the Importance of Marriage and has asked us to reflect before we vote in the Referendum on Friday. The Bishops’ Reflection is available in the Church Porch, please take it and read it before you vote.

Stoneyford School:

A Meeting of the Board of Management will be held in Stoneyford School on Wednesday 20th. May at 8.00p.m.

Circuit Training:

Circuit Training Classes in Hugginstown Centre on Wednesdays from 7.00p.m to 8.00p.m.

Choir Practice:
An invitation to choir members to participate in the Ordination of Rev. Brian Griffin.  The Ordination will take place in St Mary’s Cathedral on June 28th. at 3.00p.m. The first practice for choirs will take place in St John’s Church, Kilkenny on Monday 25th. May at 7.30p.m.

Stoneyford 10K.:

Stoneyford 10K. will take place on Sunday 17th. May in Stoneyford Village.

Sponsorship Cards are available and all are very welcome to take part.

South Kilkenny Historical Society:

South Kilkenny Historical Society will have a coach trip to Kinsale and Midleton Distillery, Cork on Saturday, May 23rd. Coach will leave Mullinavat at 8.00a.m. and return at 10.00p.m.(approx.) Cost includes Coach Fare, Guided Tours at Kinsale and Midleton Distillery and evening meal. The trip coincides with the 100th. Anniversary of the sinking of the Lusitania and will include visits to sites related to this tragic event. Irish Language Summer Camp:
