Under 14 Hurling
Congratulations to the Under 14 stalwarts of Carrickshock who opened their league campaign on a positive note last Friday in Johnstown. They beat their hosts, Fenians on a scoreline of 3-16 to 1-4. After a shaky start to both halves the boys put in a very solid display all round to dominate the game. We wish them the best in their nest outing in the league against Tullaroan on next Wednesday, 29th April in Hugginstown.
Under 16 & Minor Hurling
The Under 16s finally play the 1st match of the league next Monday 27th, with Mullinavat coming to Hugginstown for a 7.30 throw-in. The minors play the last round of the league before the break for exams next Thursday 30th, with a trip to Ballyragget to take on St. Patricks. After a disappointing opening to the league, they’ll be hoping to get things back on track in this one.
Schools Hurling
The schools hurling resumed after the Easter break when Carrickshock took on Mullinavat in Hugginstown. The boys made it 2 out of 2 in the league with a good win over our neighbours. Their next game is this Wednesday 22nd, vs. Slieverue in Slieverue. Keep up the good work!
