What a day for a Daydream!

The children of Stoneyford had their dream come true on Sunday last, 6 April 2015. After much waiting and anticipating on the part of the children and much hard work by Stoneyford Development Association (S.D.A). The village playground was finally opened. Fr. Liam Cassin P.P. took time out from his very busy Easter Sunday schedule to officiate at the opening. He blessed the playground and wished all who use the playground many years of fun, happiness and safety. Michael Rice, the renowned Kilkenny and Aghaviller Hurler cut the tape and declared the playground open for fun.

Uncharacteristically for the time of year the sun shone brilliantly for the afternoon, ensuring that all had a pleasant day.
