Registration & Training

There was a great turnout of players for our annual Registration Day on Saturday, and no small number of senior players, coaches, and parents (including many bun-makers!) to start the season off in style. And the sunshine helped put a smile on everyone’s face. Registration for boys and girls took place, but don’t worry if you missed out, we’ll be taking registrations at training for the next few weeks. We would like to thank all those senior players who put the youngsters through their paces with some expert drills and fun games: John Power, Kevin Farrell, John Tennyson, Aaron Roche, Michael Rice, Michael Rohan, James Grace, Edward Power.

Hurling Training for all age groups up to Under-14 will take place on Hugginstown main pitch on Saturday afternoons over the coming weeks. Any changes will be notified by your coaches.

Under-6s, Under-8s and Under-10s: Saturdays 3-4 pm

Under-12s and Under-14s: Saturdays 4-5 pm

Minors and Under-16s will be notified by their coaches of training times.

Under 14 Football

After a break last Sunday, the Under-14 footballers play the next round of the league this Sunday 15th in Hugginstown at 3 pm vs. John Lockes (Callan).

Schools Hurling

Cumann na mBunscol hurling season is here again. Best of luck to the boys of Stoneyford, Newmarket and Monroe schools for the campaign ahead. A huge thank you in advance to the teachers, in particular Mr. Duggan, for the huge commitment they show year in, year out. They start the league with a visit to Rower-Inistioge next Wednesday 18th.
