We had a very lively and well-attended meeting of Stoneyford Active Retirement Group on the 4^th of March 2015. There were three exceptional items on the agenda. Séamus Nugent, fitness advisor to the group attended. The members filled in a fitness survey for Séamus and he gave a short talk on the importance of fitness for all age groups.

Our resident photographer Anthony Roche took a group photograph to mark the occasion.

A four-day trip to Connemara was finalised and an introduction to Tai Chi was arranged for the May meeting of the group.

Final arrangements were made for the Defib course which the group has organised. The hope is that there will be a large group of trained people available locally to administer CPR and use the Defibrillator if required. A flower arranging session was finalised for 3 April; all are welcome.
