Christmas Youth Retreat:

Youth 2000 Ireland will be hosting their Annual Christmas Retreat in Newbridge College, Newbridge, Co. Kildare from Friday 12th. to Sunday 14th. December 2014. ‘How can a Relationship with Jesus Christ be born in my life? A presentation given by Peter Hannan S.J. on Wednesday, December 3rd. at 8.00p.m. At the beginning of Advent and as we prepare for Christmas, this evening presentation will explore how a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can become a lived reality in one’s life. Peter Hannan S.J. will explain how this relationship can become a real, life-giving encounter with specific reference to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, which greatly inform the life and work of Pope Francis and the renewal of the Catholic Church at this time. The evening is free and is open to anyone to attend.

Irish Blood Transfusion Service:

Blood Donor Mobile Clinic will visit The Carraig Hotel, Carrick-on-Suir on Tuesday 2nd. December from 5.00p.m. to 8.30p.m. and on Wednesday 3rd. from 3.00p.m. to 5.00p.m. and from 7.00p.m. to 9.00p.m. Please donate blood to help with the local hospital demands.

Evening of Music:

The Students of Scoil Aireagail will present an Evening of Music, Song and Dance in the Carmelite Hall, Knocktopher on Wednesday 3rd. December at 8.00 p.m.  Proceeds on the night will go towards new musical instruments and Ballyhale St. Vincent de Paul Society. All are very welcome.

The Local Christmas Appeal will be held after all Masses on 13th./14th. December this year.

Kilkenny/Carlow Coeliac Support Group:

The next meeting of the Kilkenny/Carlow Coeliac Support Group will take place in St.Patrick’s Parish Centre, Loughboy, Kilkenny, on Monday December 1st. at 8.00p.m. Representatives from Companies producing Gluten Free Products will be in attendance. All those effected by the Coeliac Disease are welcome to attend.
