Remembrance Mass for November:

Remembrance Mass for the Faithful Departed will be celebrated in Stoneyford Church on  Saturday 15th. November at 6.30p.m.

All who have lost a family member during the past year will be invited during the Mass to bring a candle to the altar in remembrance of their loved ones.

Congratulations to Aoibheann Catherine Fennelly, Ballycaum and her parents Caitriona and Philip.

Aoibheann was baptised in Stoneyford Church on Sunday 9th. November.

A Collection for the support of Retired Priests and Sick Priests in the Diocese of Ossory

will be taken up in every Parish throughout the Diocese next weekend 22nd./23rd. November 2014

Ministry  – A Call to Serve:

An Evening for all involved in Parish Ministry (Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Parish Council Members; Finance Committee; Choirs, Collectors etc.) will be held in St. Patrick’s Parish Centre, Loughboy on Monday 24th. November at 7.30p.m.   Speaker:  Fr. John Power, St. John’s Parish, Waterford City.

A Little Bit of Everything – Sale:

On Saturday the 29th. and Sunday the 30th. November a Consignment Sale of pre-loved, quality goods, cool junk, will take place at Stoneyford Community Centre. If you wish to include items in the sale you need to register.  Registration continues from Monday to Friday this week 17th. to the 21st. November from 7.00p.m. to 9.00p.m. at the Community Centre. A tag pack including your ID number for labelling your goods will be issued to you at registration. Labelled Goods you wish to sell to be delivered to the Community Centre from the 24th. to the 27th. November from 6.00p.m to 8.00p.m.  This event is to raise funds for a Children’s Playground as part of the on-going development scheme for the area.

Short Mat Bowls:

Over 50’s ‘Short Mat Bowls’ and ‘Go For Life Games’ take place in the Watershed on Tuesday nights at 8.00p.m. All are welcome; the month of November is free for all to try!

Coffee Morning:

The School of the Holy Spirit will hold the Annual Coffee Morning on Sunday 23rd. November from 11.00a.m. to 1.00p.m. in the school at Seville Lodge, Callan Road .  There will be lots of Home Baking; School Christmas Carols, C.D. and lots of hampers to be won in the Raffle. Carers Course:

There will be a free 4 Week Course for carers of people with Dementia in St Patrick’s Parish Centre, Kilkenny on Monday 17th. November from 2.00p.m to 4.00p.m. Places are limited so bookings or further information please contact Caroline Clifford on 056 778 4008 or Teresa Hennessy on 087 969 3297.
