Young at Heart becomes S.A.R.G. 2007

On 7/11/2007 members of Stoneyford Young at Hearts group were addressed by Jack and Brigid Kelly, Jack was area representative for the South East section of Active Retirement Ireland.  Jack outlined the benefits, for the group, of affiliating to the Active Retirement Ireland Group.  This proposal was debated and arising out of this Stoneyford young at Heart Group became Stoneyford Active Retirement Group. (S.A.R.G.)

Present at the meeting were: Sandra Connolly, Kathleen Fennelly, Maura Wallace, Mary Finnegan, Kathleen (Kate) Cook, Basil Cook, Peggy Gladwin.

Officers were elected.

Treasurer: Maura Wallace.

Secretary: Basil Cook.
